Hello, and congratulations on your sweet new baby!
My favorite thing about newborn photos is capturing this special moment in your life artistically and authentically. My goal is to capture this beautiful moment and grow with your family. I mean, they are NEVER going to be this little again!
I want to provide you with an exceptional experience before, during, and after your session.
At Sarah Branaghan Photography, I specialize in newborn photography and capturing all your little one’s precious details when they are as tiny and sleepy as possible. My sessions are typically scheduled within the first 2 weeks because babies tend to sleep more during this window. Newborns can be positioned safely and more easily at this age when swaddled in blankets, wrapped in our organic fabrics, or posed in our handmade bonnets, headbands, and tiebacks. But while posed newborns look lovely, we also try to achieve natural lifestyle poses with mom and dad (as well as older siblings, if they’re present).
If the first two weeks aren't possible, I will still try to accommodate newborn sessions up to four weeks.
I have the most beautiful collection of blankets, wraps, and rompers for your baby to wear.
Sibling shots and parent shots are also included in your LUXE & KEEPSAKE sessions.
You should book your newborn session before your due date to make sure you're available, but we can accommodate most of your needs if you contact us soon after delivery.
Newborn sessions are done on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 10 a.m. in my Middleburg Heights studio when the baby is 5-25 days old. If your baby is a bit older, feel free to contact me. I can still do some adorable poses with them.

Fresh 48
Fresh 48 sessions are meant to help you document all the emotions and nuances of your first few hours with your baby, from those itty-bitty crinkly feet to the intense and smitten gazes of parents enjoying their brand-new little bundles.
They are best done within 48 hours after birth and will take place in the comfort of your hospital room. Just so you know, I only accommodate a limited number of these sessions monthly, so do ask early if you are interested.

Milestones & One year session
These sessions are meant to document your little one’s achievements, big or small, throughout their first year. These sessions are all about capturing your baby’s first-year triumphs, such as when they’re able to raise their head while lying on their tummy (tummy timers), sit up for the first time (sitters), crawl (crawlers) or attempt those first few steps.
If the weather allows, this session can be held in our boutique lifestyle photography studio or at a fun and scenic outdoor location.
I also do my best to capture the many nuances surrounding these three milestones, such as when they never seem to stop drooling, put everything in their mouths, or still struggle to keep their balance while sitting up for the first time!
These sessions do not strictly need to happen at 3, 6, or 12 months of age. They can be scheduled whenever you feel like your baby is ready to master something new or when you would like to remember how your little one looked during a particular stage.

Maternity
Maternity sessions are an excellent way for expectant couples to capture all the joy and anticipation you'll feel during pregnancy. As your body goes through many changes, expectant moms have been known to have a “pregnancy glow,” while expectant dads tend to smile a lot.
The best time to schedule your session is around 28-32 weeks when the belly is nice and round. This will vary with each woman– and some women who carry small or gain very little weight may choose to wait until 33-35 weeks.

YOUR QUESTIONS
What do I need to book?
A $300 session retainer is required when booking and signing the contract. The balance is due the day before the session.
HOw far ahead do I need to book?
I typically book 3-6 months in advance. If you are expecting, I highly suggest booking as soon as possible. I typically do newborn sessions around 7-14 days and I do maternity sessions around 28-35 weeks.
What happens if my newborn is past 14 days?
No need to worry! I have worked with older newborns up to 6 weeks new. Please make sure you contact me, I would love to work with you no matter how old your baby is.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely!! Photography is an investment, and I want to make sure that I can meet your needs. I offer AfterPay and a loyalty discount. Please ask for details.
How long does it take to recieve our images?
Your gallery will be ready in about 2-3 weeks from your session date.
