Newborn sessions can take anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours, and that’s not by accident. These sessions are carefully paced, allowing for feedings, soothing, settling, and safe posing. Every baby is different, and I work at their pace—never rushed, always gentle. That kind of calm, nurturing environment only comes with years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of newborn behavior.

I always recommend booking during your second trimester so I can soft-book you based on your due date. That way, once baby arrives, we can schedule your session during the ideal window—typically when baby is 5–15 days new. This is when they’re most sleepy and curled, making it the perfect time to create those timeless images.
