Lets talk about Essential Oils

A lot of you that come over for sessions have smelled my oils going during our session. You guys obviously know that I love my oils and we use them all the time. If you follow me on Instagram, I am constantly posting about them… especially the Nitro, I LOVE Nitro!

There seems to be a lot of people jumping on the Essential Oils bandwagon… including myself. I am a huge essential oiler! I believe in them and share them with anyone who will listen. I have done my research on many different oil “brands” and I honestly was really leaning towards Young Living. I know that everyone has their own opinion on which brand they like and what not. Personally for me I like Young Livings seed to seal guarantee – which means that they are involved in their oils EVERY step of the way – from the seeds that are planted, to the seal on the bottle that comes into my home. That is reassuring to me that I am getting the very best possible grade of essential oils possible! I also love that Young Living has a huge support network for me. I am able to join Facebook groups, e courses and more that are aimed at helping me to grow and achieve success in my oil usage and business. What’s also great is that I don’t have to ever sell oils or even purchase if I don’t want to and I have the flexibility to order at any time. That is wonderful! However, I love sharing so much that I WANT to order more oils to learn more about them and share with my friends!

I would have to say that I was introduced by another photographer. I had seen her posts and was really curious about them. From the way the can heal any ailment, to cleaning and even cooking with these oils. I mean if you really think about all of the chemicals that are in foods, cleaners and today’s modern medicine. Would you rather put some medicine that has been processed by some manufacturer or would you rather put something natural into your child body? I know that essential oils are by any means not meant to heal all illnesses and sickness, yes you need prescription medicines. But if you had the choice, wouldn’t you rather put something that doesn’t have a gazillion chemicals in your body? YES!!!!!! That’s what made me jump on the band wagon, I was hooked!

I had done my research and learned more about how the oils are obtained, how safe they are and how to use them. I was excited to get started! I ordered my first kit and started experimenting with the oils. First, I used lavender to help relax and calm my anxiousness and help me sleep. It worked well! Next, I used lemon to clean with and freshen my home. I was getting hooked! I couldn’t wait to try more! Before long, I had a chance to try these oils on my children when my son had an ear ache, to help with stuffy noses, and barky coughs, to help kill germs and boost our immune systems. I used them for my stress, anxiety, sleeping issues and headaches. I even used them on my kids for upset tummies and to improve my skin issues. WOW! I was amazed at how well they worked and continue to be amazed each time I see results for whatever I’m trying to treat!

The more I used the oils, the more I wanted to share with my friends and family. If I was getting such great results with the oils – they could too! Just thinking of all the money they could save in co-pays, prescriptions, over the counter meds, cleaning products and more – was so exciting to me! I started sharing! From letting my friends test them out when they came over to posting all over my social media. I would share everything from Thieves for fighting colds to Joy which had helped uplift my spirits. Not to mention NITRO…. If you follow me, you know that is one of my favorites! Slowly but surely my friends started to respond… Oh, what is that oil about, what does that one do? So, I decided to start sharing the oils as a business. I could help my friends and family, make a few extra dollars and earn points towards free oils for my family. And, it’s been great!
