Such an amazing session ant Nelson Ghost Town in Las Vegas. I mean, this little Cleveland girl got to go all the way to Las Vegas to photograph a family.. how often does that happen?? Well not really just any family, my best friends family.

Okay, maybe this seems a bit exaggerated, but really y’all, I do not get to travel much. I really want to and I am totally open for traveling for work.. hint, hint! But this really was such a great trip. It was a short trip, but amazing. Lets start off with I got to see my best friend of 16 years…. it has been a good 3 years since we have seen each other. While we talk on the phone almost everyday like we live down the street from each other, it is nice to get to physically see her and her kids. I really didn’t take my big camera out, except for this session, so I don’t have any other fun photos. But trust me, these are amazing. Anyways, we had a lot of fun hanging out, day drinking at the pool, hanging out on the strip, just walking around drinking. We also hung out with the kids and did some other fun stuff and just relaxed at her pool. Honestly, that was enough for me… I just wanted to hangout and have fun.

Keep in mind that I had no idea what was around out there to shoot, I mean I know it’s all deserts.. but I relied on Shanon to pick a great spot. Well she definitely blew my socks off with this one. Nelson Ghost Town.. really it was a ghost town!! No one was there, except for one other photographer there shooting a wedding. This place is in the middle of no where, you get no cell service…. let’s pray the car doesn’t break down. It kind of reminded me of the movie Jeepers Creepers where they break down and the weird deformed guys com out of the woods and kill you. Okay enough about that. But this place was gorgeous!!! I would so go back there in a heart beat again!! Enjoy!
