Some families just become part of your heart—and for me, this family is absolutely one of them.

For the past five years, we’ve made it a tradition to meet at this little creek tucked away in the heart of summer. Every session is a blend of familiar laughter, bare feet in the water, and that golden light that seems to follow them around like magic. Watching their babies grow year after year has been the most incredible honor—and capturing those fleeting stages has become one of my favorite parts of this job.

What started as a family of three has grown, and so has the love and connection between them. These sessions never feel like “work”—they feel like catching up with old friends, laughing at silly splashes, and pausing to appreciate the way their story is unfolding in front of my lens.

This year’s session was no different. The joy was real, the laughs were loud, and those creekside memories we captured are truly timeless. These are the kinds of moments that make it all worth it.

Families like this remind me why I do what I do—because they are only this little once, and documenting these milestones year after year is truly priceless.
