If the idea of being photographed makes you nervous, you’re not alone. Many parents—especially new parents—tell me they feel unsure, self-conscious, or worried they won’t look “camera-ready.” After 13 years behind the lens, I can confidently say this: you do not need to know how to pose to create beautiful images.
That’s my job.
True confidence isn’t about perfection—it’s about comfort. When you feel guided, reassured, and cared for, everything changes. My approach is calm, gentle, and fully supportive, allowing you to relax and be present with your baby.
You’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands or how to stand. I offer soft direction that feels natural, not forced, and focuses on connection rather than posing.
The newborn phase is emotional. You’re tired. Your body is still healing. Your heart feels bigger than ever. I understand this season deeply, and I photograph parents with empathy, patience, and intention.
I know how to position you in ways that are flattering and comfortable, and how to capture moments that feel genuine—not staged.
Some of the most beautiful images I’ve ever created came from parents who told me they hated being photographed. Confidence grows when you realize you’re not being judged—you’re being cared for.
My goal is for you to walk away saying, “That was easier than I expected.”
Because when you feel at ease, your images reflect exactly that.
