From Bump to Baby | A Cozy Studio Newborn Session

This sweet boy’s session was extra special because I had the chance to photograph his mama during her maternity session just a few weeks before he made his grand debut. Seeing the glow of anticipation transform into the joy of new life is one of the most beautiful parts of what I get to do.

This little guy was a total dream—sleepy, squishy, and full of those perfect newborn details we never want to forget. He rocked every setup, from the neutral bonnet look to that adorable cozy bucket pose (those tiny hands tucked under his chin—my heart!).

What made this session even more fun? The whole family came along, including their beloved dog—aka the original baby. You could feel the love in the room, and it was so sweet seeing everyone settle into their new rhythm as a family of four. Their pup was right at home and clearly proud of his new sibling!

Every newborn session is a reminder of just how fleeting these early days are. It’s why I love capturing every tiny detail—the wrinkles, the lashes, the peaceful little sighs. Because they grow in the blink of an eye, and these images are forever.
